Pure Blue Japan has introduced an innovative "double weaving" technique to craft a Type II jacket with distinct fabric character. This technique involves weaving two fabric layers together using specially-designed looms. The outcome is a jacket that appears lined but is actually a single, continuous piece of woven cloth.

The exterior features double indigo denim with a pronounced vertical slub, which will fade gracefully over time as the indigo dyes wear off. The interior is a cotton blend with a border pattern and flecks of nep throughout, providing the visual appeal of a blanket lining without the extra bulk.
