The "Rain" series by Studio D'Artisan pays homage to the rich tradition of Japanese indigo-dyed fabrics and the timeless art of sashiko stitching. This collection is deeply ingrained in Japanese culture, reflecting the historical importance of indigo-dyed textiles as everyday wear.

At the heart of this collection is the distinctive indigo-dyed fabric known as "Ame Gasuri," or "Rain Kasuri." Ame Gasuri is celebrated for its intricate patterns that evoke the imagery of falling raindrops. It is crafted using Kasuri threads exclusively in the warp, allowing the weaver to create irregular, broken lines that resemble the appearance of rain.
