The Tanuki 15oz "IDxID" Selvedge Denim is renowned for its unique characteristics, most notably being its loose weave and rapid fading. Both the warp and weft are dyed with indigo, resulting in an initially deep monochromatic appearance that gradually fades into vibrant pops of electric blue.

The fabric boasts a distinctive slubby texture, a result of intentionally slowing down the loom and allowing it to weave the fabric loosely. This design choice ensures that the denim can be comfortably worn across multiple seasons. Made from the same plush Texas cotton as the "ZETTO" fabric, the denim is expected to exhibit fading primarily in the bumpy slub areas, with fading progressing to the back of the knees and thighs soon after. This particular pair from Tanuki garners significant attention due to its exceptional fading potential.
