Inspired by the 1940s "War Model 1st Type," this design reflects the material restrictions of WWII, featuring four front buttons and no pocket flaps. Its "action pleats," characteristic of 1st and 2nd type workwear, enhance ease of movement for added functionality. The fabric is crafted from original Graphzero selvedge denim, meticulously woven with herringbone warp threads in alternating left and right twill at 1cm intervals, showcasing attention to detail in cotton selection, dyeing, and loom settings.
This first type is regarded as the origin of the G-jean, with a silhouette that captures the rugged charm of the post-WWII era, appealing to vintage enthusiasts. Each section is sewn with careful attention to thread thickness and tension.
Designed with a slightly tapered box silhouette that complements the male body, it features snug armholes for a refined, elegant look without excess bulk.
