This Japanese-made flannel uses the same heavyweight yarn-dyed fabric as UES’s classic checks, but with rope-dyed indigo warp and weft threads that fade beautifully over time. Ecru yarns are added to create a subtle striped pattern with chambray-like depth, offering a calmer look than traditional plaids and making it versatile from early fall through spring.

Cut with UES’s signature narrow silhouette, the shirt reflects the character of old shuttle looms that offers slight unevenness, neps, and natural colour variation that add charm. With wear, the indigo gradually softens and fades, giving each piece a unique look.
