Built on the same platform as Samurai’s core heavyweight tees, the SMT26-101 pairs their signature fabric with a graphic rooted in the brand’s own world.

The base fabric uses carefully selected raw cotton spun into thick #14 slub yarn, then slowly knitted on vintage Daimaruki circular machines, resulting in a dense, textured jersey with a firm yet soft feel that improves with wear.

The “Down Below” graphic draws directly from a custom lowrider car displayed at Samurai’s Osaka headquarters, translated into a detailed print that reflects the brand’s crossover into vintage automotive culture.

Finished with a triple-needle binder neck, the collar is built to hold shape through repeated wear. In black, the print sits with more contrast and depth, while the fabric’s natural irregularity gives the surface a subtle, broken-in look over time.
