EEL - CW Cook Pants Charcoal [E-25262A]

EEL Products takes its longstanding Cook Pants silhouette and reworks it for cooler weather with a soft cotton and wool herringbone fabric. The result keeps the relaxed utility of the original while adding more texture and warmth for fall and winter.

The CW, or Cotton Wool, version is made from a herringbone fabric woven from 55% cotton, 30% wool and 15% polyester. The surface has a lightly brushed character that softens the appearance of the herringbone and gives the Charcoal colourway plenty of depth and texture.

The silhouette draws from traditional cook pants, with a deep rise and generous top block designed to provide plenty of freedom through the hips and thighs. From there, the leg falls into an easy, relaxed straight shape that feels roomy without becoming overly exaggerated.

The waist uses a comfortable elasticized construction, making these particularly easy for everyday wear. A distinctive loop at the right side of the waist references the functional origins of the Cook Pants design, where a cook could use it to hang a kitchen towel.

Despite the wool content, the fabric remains relatively lightweight and comfortable. A polyester lining adds another layer of comfort against the skin, while the garment washed finish brings out the softer, textured character of the cotton wool herringbone.

A good example of EEL’s approach to everyday clothing, taking a practical uniform inspired silhouette and making it just a little more interesting through fabric and subtle details.

Fabric & Care: The herringbone shell combines 55% cotton, 30% wool and 15% polyester with a 100% polyester lining. The fabric has a lightly brushed surface and has been garment washed to bring out its softer, textured character. The wool blend can be washed at home, but follow the garment care label and avoid high heat.

Fit: Relaxed through the waist, hips and thighs with a deep rise and an easy straight leg. The elasticized waist provides additional flexibility and makes the CW Cook Pants particularly comfortable for everyday wear.
