Indigofera - Fargo Quarter Vintage 70s Rinsed Denim Jacket

The Indigofera Fargo Quarter takes the brand’s classic Fargo workwear jacket and brings the proportions up into a shorter, trucker-inspired silhouette. This version is built from Indigofera’s 14oz Vintage 70s Japanese selvedge denim, a fabric developed to capture some of the irregular texture and character associated with vintage denim.

Woven in Japan from 100% cotton, the 14oz denim has a slightly uneven surface with a hairy, subtly irregular texture when viewed up close. The indigo starts dark and relatively uniform, but the fabric is designed to continue fading and developing greater variation as it is worn.

The denim has already received a rinsed finish, taking care of the initial wet treatment while slightly relaxing the fabric before wear. It still retains plenty of structure when new and will continue to soften and conform to the wearer over time.

The Fargo Quarter is the cropped version of Indigofera’s longstanding Fargo silhouette, finishing around the waistband for proportions closer to a traditional trucker jacket. The body remains relatively full and boxy with roomy sleeves, making it easy to layer over shirts, flannels and knitwear.

Two chest pockets and two hand warmer pockets provide plenty of practical storage without overcrowding the front of the jacket. A contrasting corduroy collar adds another traditional workwear element, while chambray is used as a partial lining at the cuffs, neck and pocket flaps.

Custom Indigofera brass snaps close the front placket, pockets and cuffs, with branded copper rivets reinforcing key stress points. Triple needle stitching adds further durability while maintaining the straightforward workwear construction of the Fargo.

Designed in Sweden and made in Portugal from Japanese selvedge denim, the Fargo Quarter Vintage 70s combines Indigofera’s distinctive fabrics with a cropped, easy wearing silhouette built to become increasingly personal with wear.
