This 50's-style horsehide jacket by The Flat Head is crafted from vegetable-tanned horsehide and showcases meticulous details inspired by denim brands. It features some of FH's signature elements, including original iron buttons reminiscent of those found on jeans and denim jackets, as well as orange stitching that evokes the classic denim look.
The horsehide is tanned and finished by Shinki Horsehide Leather, a renowned Japanese tannery gaining global recognition. The surface features a semi-aniline finish, with a carefully blended combination of black dyes and pigments, which creates a "brown core" aging process that is characteristic of Flat Head horsehide.
The lining is crafted from rayon twill, offering a smooth and soft feel that allows for free arm movement and minimizes snagging when layered. The elegant luster and vibrant color of the rayon lining add an extra touch of sophistication, enhancing the overall appeal of the leather jacket.
Orders ship within 2–3 business days via courier or Canada Post. All shipments include $100 insurance (additional coverage is available upon request).
Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for store credit or exchange only. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
