The Imogene + Willie Willie Eastland takes the brand’s signature straight leg fit and pairs it with a deep indigo Japanese selvedge denim that has already been given the beginnings of a natural break in.

Rather than trying to replicate a heavily worn vintage jean, the Eastland wash is intentionally restrained. The denim retains its rich indigo colour while subtle abrasion and lightly contrasted areas give it the appearance of a jean that has only recently started its life cycle. The result sits somewhere between rigid denim and a heavily washed jean, offering some character from day one while leaving plenty of room for the fabric to continue evolving with regular wear.

The 100% cotton Japanese selvedge denim has a substantial feel while remaining versatile enough for everyday wear. As the jeans continue to be worn and washed, the existing variation in the Eastland finish will be joined by creasing, fading and wear patterns unique to the wearer.

The Willie is Imogene + Willie’s classic straight leg fit. It sits above the hips and runs straight through the thigh and knee, creating a clean silhouette with enough room through the leg to remain comfortable without becoming overly relaxed.

Construction remains traditional with a five pocket layout and button fly. The jeans ship with a long inseam, providing enough length to wear cuffed or have hemmed to your preferred length.

Patterned, cut, and sewn in the USA from Japanese denim, the Willie Eastland is a particularly good option for someone who likes the character of worn denim but doesn't necessarily want to start with a completely rigid pair.
