Indigofera - Buck Tapered 14oz Uneven Broken Twill Ecru Jeans

The Indigofera Buck is the brand’s relaxed tapered jean, combining a comfortable top block with a gradual taper through the lower leg. This Ecru version is cut from a substantial 14oz Uneven Broken Twill, giving a familiar five pocket jean an entirely different character from traditional indigo denim.

Made from 100% cotton, the fabric uses a broken twill construction rather than the continuous diagonal weave found in conventional right or left hand twill denim. The alternating weave creates a subtle irregular texture across the surface while helping reduce the tendency for heavier denim to twist through the leg.

The natural Ecru colour keeps that texture visible. Rather than the high contrast fading associated with indigo, this fabric will develop character more subtly through wear, washing and the natural marks that come with living in a lighter coloured pair of jeans.

The fabric has already been rinsed, taking some of the initial stiffness out of the 14oz cotton and making the jeans considerably easier to wear from the start.

Fit is Indigofera’s Buck, with a mid to high rise, room through the thigh and a taper beginning below the knee. It gives you the comfort and proportions of a fuller jean through the top block without carrying all of that width through to the hem.

Finished with traditional five pocket construction and a button fly, the Buck keeps the detailing straightforward and lets the unusual Ecru broken twill do most of the work.
