Indigofera - Women's Roslyn 70's Uneven Broken Twill Jeans Ecru

The Indigofera Roslyn takes its cues from vintage women’s jeans, combining a true high rise with a full, straight leg and a shaped top block designed to sit naturally through the waist and hips. For this version, Indigofera pairs the Roslyn with a substantial 14oz Uneven Broken Twill in Ecru, giving the familiar silhouette a completely different character from traditional indigo denim.

The 100% cotton fabric uses a broken twill construction, alternating the direction of the weave rather than running consistently left or right like conventional denim. Combined with the uneven character of the yarn, this creates a highly textured surface that becomes particularly visible in the undyed-looking Ecru colourway.

At 14oz, the fabric has enough weight and structure to feel like proper denim while remaining comfortable for everyday wear. The jeans have been soaked before finishing, helping settle the fabric and taking some of the initial stiffness out of the cotton.

The Roslyn itself is cut with a high waist and straight leg, drawing heavily from vintage women’s denim proportions. It sits at the natural waist before opening through the hips and falling into a fuller straight silhouette through the leg. The result feels distinctly vintage without turning into a reproduction piece.

Ecru makes the texture of the Uneven Broken Twill the focus. Rather than relying on indigo fading for character, the irregular weave, natural cotton tone and subtle variations across the fabric become increasingly apparent with wear. It also makes the Roslyn particularly easy to pair with indigo denim, chambray, olive fatigues, darker knits and other natural tones.
