Big John’s World Workers WR623F Coverall Jacket brings one of the most practical pieces of traditional workwear back in a dense cotton duck canvas. The tightly woven 100% cotton fabric has the firm, durable hand expected from proper workwear, giving the jacket enough structure to stand on its own while being designed to soften and develop more character the longer it is worn.

The Army Green colourway keeps the jacket firmly rooted in utilitarian clothing, sitting somewhere between classic workwear and military tones. The One Wash finish takes some of the initial rigidity out of the duck canvas while leaving plenty of life in the fabric. With wear, the surface will gradually pick up creasing, abrasion and tonal variation around the cuffs, elbows, pockets and seams.

Construction stays close to the purpose-built coveralls that inspired it. The front uses a classic four-pocket layout with additional tool-pocket detailing and reinforced stitching, giving plenty of functional storage without overcomplicating the shape. The straightforward collar and button front keep the silhouette clean enough to work just as naturally with denim and fatigues as it does as an actual utility jacket.

The relaxed, boxy fit is deliberately generous, leaving enough room to layer over a sweatshirt or hoodie without restricting movement. In milder weather it works equally well over a T-shirt or button-up, making it a useful three-season outer layer with the kind of durability that should only improve as the canvas breaks in.

Fabric & Care: Made from 100% cotton high-density duck canvas with a One Wash finish. The tightly woven fabric starts substantial and structured but will gradually soften, crease and develop surface wear with repeated use. Big John notes that fading and abrasion will occur through wear and washing. Wash cold with similar colours, do not use chlorine bleach and avoid tumble drying.

Fit: Cut in a relaxed, boxy silhouette with enough room through the body for layering over sweatshirts and hoodies. Big John uses Japanese sizing, so tops may fit approximately one size smaller than typical North American sizing. We recommend comparing our garment measurements with a jacket you already own before choosing your size.
