The 1103 Clean Straight was introduced to mark FULLCOUNT’s 30th anniversary, adding a new core silhouette between two of the brand’s most established fits. It combines the roomier thigh of the 1101 with a leg opening closer to the slimmer 1108, creating a clean, balanced straight fit that works particularly well for everyday wear.

At the heart of the 1103 is FULLCOUNT’s original 13.7oz Japanese selvedge denim, woven from 100% Zimbabwe cotton. Long staple Zimbabwe cotton has been central to FULLCOUNT’s denim for decades, chosen for its combination of softness, durability and natural elasticity. The result is a denim substantial enough to develop plenty of character while remaining comfortable enough for year round wear.

This version is completely raw and unwashed. FULLCOUNT’s denim is unsanforized and woven on traditional machinery, preserving more of the cotton’s natural texture and elasticity. Starting from raw allows you to experience the fabric from its original state, with the first wash shrinking the denim down toward FULLCOUNT’s One Wash measurements.

The Clean Straight silhouette has comfortable room through the thigh before narrowing slightly toward the hem. It is not a slim jean, but the cleaner lower leg gives it a more streamlined appearance than a traditional straight fit. A distinctive diagonally positioned rear centre belt loop provides a subtle detail unique to the 1103.

Finished with a traditional button fly, copper rivets, hidden back pocket rivets and a leather waistband patch.

Fabric & Shrinkage: This is the raw, unwashed version of FULLCOUNT’s 13.7oz selvedge denim. FULLCOUNT states that its raw denim shrinks approximately 8 to 10% after washing, settling toward the measurements of the corresponding One Wash version. Even slight exposure to moisture can begin the shrinkage process. Cold washing and hang drying will help minimize additional movement after the initial wash.

Fit: The Clean Straight sits directly between FULLCOUNT’s 1101 and 1108. It combines a thigh closer to the roomier 1101 with a hem width closer to the 1108, resulting in a balanced straight silhouette with a clean, subtle taper through the lower leg.
