The FULLCOUNT 5222L Flat Seam Long Sleeve Shirt takes the brand’s long-running heavyweight T-shirt program and extends it into an exceptionally comfortable long sleeve staple. Built from FULLCOUNT’s original heavyweight cotton jersey, a fabric the brand has used for more than 20 years, the 5222L is substantial without feeling unnecessarily stiff or heavy on the body.

FULLCOUNT uses its original 30/2 tight-tension jersey, knitted from 100% cotton. The yarn is designed to trap air within the fabric, giving the shirt a substantial hand while maintaining a soft, comfortable feel. With continued wear and washing, the fabric gradually settles against the body and becomes increasingly comfortable rather than simply wearing out.

Construction is where the 5222L really separates itself from a standard long sleeve tee. FULLCOUNT uses four-needle flat-seam construction through key areas, including the sleeves, creating flatter joins with less bulk against the skin. The technique requires specialized vintage machinery and considerably more precision than conventional two or three-needle sewing.

The collar is finished with a vintage-inspired half-bias binder designed to maintain its shape through years of wear. FULLCOUNT also incorporates elastic ribbing beneath the arms, adding flexibility and helping the shirt move more naturally with the body.

Finished in White, the clean colourway keeps the focus on the texture, weight, and vintage-inspired construction of the jersey. It is an easy everyday staple that works equally well on its own or layered beneath denim, work shirts, and jackets.
