FULLCOUNT - Indigo Wabash Corduroy Chore Jacket H.W. [2015HW-11]

The FULLCOUNT 2015HW-11 Indigo Wabash Corduroy Chore Jacket takes a classic piece of early American workwear and gives it considerably more depth through one of FULLCOUNT’s most distinctive fabrics. Built from indigo-dyed cotton corduroy with a traditional Wabash stripe, the jacket combines the raised texture of corduroy with the rich colour and aging characteristics normally associated with indigo workwear.

The 100% cotton corduroy is dyed indigo before the familiar dotted Wabash stripe is created through discharge printing. Rather than applying a white pattern over the surface, the discharge process removes colour from selected areas of the indigo fabric. The result is a stripe that feels integrated into the cloth while allowing the depth and texture of the indigo-dyed corduroy to remain the focus.

This H.W. version receives FULLCOUNT’s washed and aged treatment, bringing out some of the character that would normally take considerable wear to develop. The process softens the corduroy and creates variation throughout the indigo, giving the jacket a naturally broken-in appearance from the beginning. Regular wear will continue to change the fabric, adding further fading and contrast across both the raised corduroy ridges and Wabash pattern.

The silhouette takes inspiration from simplified work jackets of the WWII period. A relatively short body and subtly flared shape give it distinctly vintage proportions, while the straightforward button front and generous patch pockets retain the practicality of traditional chore coats.

Period-inspired details continue with aged five-star donut buttons and characterful stitching throughout. The overall design remains intentionally simple, allowing the unusual combination of indigo, Wabash discharge printing, corduroy texture, and FULLCOUNT’s H.W. treatment to do most of the work.
