FULLCOUNT’s 0105W is one of the defining wide-straight cuts in Japanese denim. Originally introduced in 1995, the 0105 was the first FULLCOUNT model to use Zimbabwe cotton and remains the widest of the brand’s core straight fits. The jeans are built from FULLCOUNT’s 13.7oz Original Selvedge Denim, woven from 100% Zimbabwe cotton for a combination of softness, durability and the natural elasticity that has become central to the brand.

The denim is woven unsanforized on traditional machinery at a carefully controlled tension, allowing the cotton to retain more of its natural fullness and texture. An indigo warp is paired with a white weft, while a light pink selvedge ID runs along the outseam. The long-staple Zimbabwe cotton gives the 13.7oz fabric a relatively soft hand for raw-style denim, but there is still enough irregularity in the surface to develop the creasing, vertical fading and worn-in character expected from vintage-inspired jeans.

The 0105 silhouette is built around a high rise, generous seat and plenty of room through the thigh. FULLCOUNT increased the difference between the front and back rise to create a more natural hang through the hips, while the leg remains wide before narrowing only slightly below the knee. The result is substantial without becoming shapeless, giving you the fuller proportions of mid-century denim while keeping the front and lower seat surprisingly clean.

Construction stays traditional throughout, with a button fly, copper rivets, hidden back-pocket rivets, raised belt loops, selvedge detailing at the coin pocket and a vegetable-tanned goatskin leather patch. This W version has been One Washed, taking care of the major initial shrinkage associated with the unsanforized denim and leaving the jeans ready to wear and break in from the start.

Fabric & Care: Made from FULLCOUNT’s 13.7oz Original Selvedge Denim using 100% Zimbabwe cotton. The fabric is unsanforized but has been One Washed, so the majority of its initial shrinkage has already occurred. Wash cold with similar dark colours when necessary and hang dry. Indigo transfer and gradual colour loss are expected and will become part of the natural ageing of the denim.

Fit: The 0105 is FULLCOUNT’s widest core straight fit, with a high rise, roomy hips and thighs and a wide leg that tapers only slightly below the knee. The One Wash version can run somewhat smaller than typical North American denim sizing, so we recommend comparing our garment measurements with a well-fitting pair of jeans rather than relying only on tagged size.
