Pearl snap shirts have been part of Imogene + Willie since the beginning, and the Hayes is their take on the classic Western denim shirt with a slightly easier, more contemporary fit.
Built from a substantial 10oz, 100% cotton indigo stripe denim, the Hayes has enough weight and structure to feel more substantial than a conventional shirting fabric while remaining comfortable enough to wear on its own or open over a tee.
The indigo stripe gives the fabric a strong vintage workwear character without making the shirt feel overly traditional. From a distance it reads as a rich indigo denim, while up close the stripe adds another layer of texture and detail.
For this version of the Hayes, Imogene + Willie intentionally opened up the proportions compared with some of their earlier denim shirts. There is more room through the body for easier movement and layering while maintaining the familiar shape and detailing of the Western shirts that originally inspired it.
Pearl snap closures run through the front and cuffs, keeping the construction simple and rooted in classic Western shirting.
Like much of Imogene + Willie’s collection, the Hayes is manufactured in the USA, where it is patterned, cut and sewn.
