Imogene + Willie - The Griffin Moleskin Workshirt Painted Camo

The Griffin began with a vintage chamois button up that had been passed down as a hand me down. Imogene + Willie used that original shirt as the starting point for something designed to sit somewhere between a traditional flannel and a piece of outerwear.

This version is built from an 8oz moleskin fabric made from 98% cotton with 2% spandex. Moleskin is known for its dense construction and soft, brushed surface, giving the Griffin a substantial feel without the weight of a full jacket. The small amount of stretch adds some flexibility to a fabric that is otherwise built with durability in mind.

The painted camo gives the Griffin a more distinctive appearance while keeping the underlying workshirt simple and functional. Rather than treating it as a conventional button up, Imogene + Willie designed the Griffin to be worn and used much like a light jacket, something that can be thrown over a tee or another layer and put through regular wear.
