Indigofera - Deville Printed Seersucker Shirt Ecru/Wine

The Deville is Indigofera’s take on a classic warm weather camp shirt, pairing a relaxed short sleeve silhouette with a textured printed seersucker in Wine and Ecru. It has the easy shape of vintage summer shirting, but the fabric gives it considerably more depth than a conventional lightweight cotton shirt.

Made from 100% cotton, the seersucker is woven to create its characteristic puckered surface. Those raised and recessed sections keep portions of the fabric away from the skin, helping air move through the shirt while reducing how much cloth sits directly against the body. It is a construction that has long made seersucker particularly well suited to hot weather.

Indigofera adds an all over Wine and Ecru print over that irregular surface. Because the underlying cloth is already puckered, the pattern does not have the completely flat appearance it would on a conventional poplin. Instead, the print follows the highs and lows of the seersucker, giving the pattern additional texture and allowing it to change subtly as the fabric moves.

The Deville keeps the rest of the construction straightforward. An open camp collar reinforces the shirt’s relaxed summer character, while two chest pockets add some of the utility that runs through much of Indigofera’s clothing. Cat’s eye buttons provide a small vintage inspired detail without competing with the printed fabric.

Cut with short sleeves and an easy body, the Deville is designed to work comfortably through warmer weather. Wear it open over a tee, buttoned on its own or paired with denim and fatigues.
