ROTOTO’s R5142 Nep Wool Seamless Toque takes a simple cold-weather staple and gives it considerably more character through the yarn itself. The knit is scattered with small multicoloured neps, creating an irregular flecked surface that adds depth and texture without relying on graphics or unnecessary decoration.

The toque is produced using seamless WHOLEGARMENT knitting technology, allowing the entire shape to be formed without conventional cutting and sewing. This eliminates bulky side seams against the head and allows the knit to conform more naturally to the wearer. Stretch yarn is incorporated into the construction to help the toque maintain its shape while providing a comfortable fit without excessive pressure.

Black gives the nep yarn particularly strong definition. Against the dark base, the small coloured flecks become more noticeable up close while the overall appearance remains understated from a distance. It pairs easily with indigo denim, black denim, olive fatigues, wool outerwear and leather jackets, making it one of the most versatile versions of the R5142.

The adjustable cuff also allows the proportions to be changed depending on how it is worn. A single fold creates a traditional watch-cap silhouette, while folding it twice produces a shorter, more compact shape. Like much of ROTOTO’s range, the design is straightforward, with the interest coming from the yarn, specialized knitting process and comfort of the seamless construction.

Fabric & Care: Made from 60% acrylic, 20% wool, 12% nylon, 6% polyester and 2% polyurethane. The wool blend provides warmth while multicoloured nep fibres create the characteristic flecked texture throughout the knit. Wash gently and avoid tumble drying, as excessive heat may cause shrinkage or distort the shape of the knit.

Fit: One size with a flexible ribbed construction designed to conform comfortably to the head. The seamless construction eliminates bulky side seams, while the folded cuff can be adjusted to change the overall depth and proportion depending on how you prefer to wear it.
