ROTOTO’s R1508 Double Face Mini Crew Socks are built around comfort, using a double-face construction that combines organic cotton on both the outside and inside of the sock. The result is a moderately cushioned everyday style that feels substantial without becoming overly heavy, making it one of those socks that can stay in rotation for most of the year.

The fabric is made from 86% cotton, 7% polyester, 6% nylon and 1% polyurethane. Organic cotton is used on both sides of the double-face construction, giving the sock a predominantly natural fibre feel while the additional fibres provide the stretch, durability and shape retention needed for regular wear.

The inside is where the construction becomes particularly interesting. ROTOTO uses undyed organic cotton and knits it into a lightweight pile, creating a soft layer against the foot. The small loops provide cushioning without the bulk of a heavier boot sock, giving the R1508 a comfortable balance between softness and everyday versatility.

Leaving the organic cotton on the inside undyed also keeps the material closer to its natural state where it sits directly against the foot. It is a small detail that you may never notice visually while wearing them, but it speaks to the amount of consideration ROTOTO puts into the parts of a sock you normally never see.

Comfort is carried through to the opening and arch as well. ROTOTO deliberately uses softer elastic tension through the ribbed opening and arch support to minimize the restrictive feeling that can come from tighter socks. The goal is support without excessive compression, creating a more relaxed fit for extended everyday wear.

The mini crew height sits between an ankle sock and a traditional crew. There is enough length to show above sneakers and low shoes without climbing particularly high up the calf, making it an easy proportion to wear with denim, fatigues, chinos, shorts or casual trousers.

ROTOTO gives the R1508 a moderate thickness and describes it as suitable for wear throughout much of the year. The combination of the double-face construction and lightweight pile interior gives you noticeable cushioning underfoot while remaining versatile enough for spring, summer and autumn.

Fit: Available in Small, Medium and Large. Small fits approximately 23–25cm, Medium 25–27cm and Large 27–29cm. Soft elastic is used through both the opening and arch support to provide a secure fit while minimizing excessive tightness.
