The Studio D'Artisan Denim Blanket Jacket is the brand's modern interpretation of the iconic blanket-lined denim jackets that first appeared in the 1950s, combining vintage American workwear inspiration with Studio D'Artisan's renowned Japanese craftsmanship. Constructed from the brand's original 14oz left-hand twill denim, the jacket offers a smooth hand feel with excellent structure and is designed to develop rich vertical fading and character over years of wear.
To address the traditional lack of insulation found in denim jackets, Studio D'Artisan incorporates a warm wool-blend blanket lining throughout the body, creating a practical cold-weather outer layer without sacrificing the timeless appeal of classic denim. While inspired by vintage Storm Rider jackets, the D4187 has been thoughtfully updated with a slightly longer body for improved comfort and layering, making it more versatile for modern wear.
Additional heritage details include a corduroy collar, black-coated laurel buttons, adjustable cat's-eye waist tabs, zig-zag reinforced front placket stitching, and contrasting orange stitching that pays homage to Studio D'Artisan's signature denim. Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for store credit or exchange only. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
