The UES 522511 Western Shirt takes one of the most recognizable pieces of American workwear and lightens it up for warmer weather. Western shirts originated as practical clothing for cowboys in the American West, identified by their shaped yokes and snap closures. UES keeps those defining details intact while replacing the heavier fabrics commonly associated with the style with a lightweight 5oz Japanese cotton cloth.

At 5oz, the fabric is considerably lighter than a denim or traditional heavyweight western shirt. It has enough structure to hold the distinctive shape of the yokes while remaining breathable and comfortable through spring and summer. The lighter weight also makes it easy to wear under a jacket or knit once temperatures begin to drop, giving the shirt considerably more range than its seasonal inspiration might suggest.

The lighter construction makes the 522511 considerably more breathable than a traditional denim Western shirt while retaining enough structure to hold its shape.

Machine wash cold with similar colours and hang dry. Avoid high heat to help preserve the fit and fabric over time.
