Indigofera - Ryman 13W White Corduroy Western Shirt

The Ryman is Indigofera’s classic Western shirt, built around the familiar details of traditional cowboy shirting while leaving plenty of room for the fabric to change the character of the piece. This version trades denim for a substantial 13-wale cotton corduroy in Off White, giving the Ryman more texture and warmth while keeping the recognizable Western silhouette intact.

Made from 100% cotton, the fabric uses a 13-wale corduroy construction. The wale count refers to the number of raised cords running through an inch of fabric, with 13-wale sitting in a versatile middle ground between very fine needlecord and the much wider ridges of heavy workwear corduroy. The result is a fabric with plenty of visible texture without becoming overly bulky.

The Off White colour puts even more emphasis on that surface. Light and shadow move across the raised cords as the shirt is worn, making the fabric look considerably more dimensional than a conventional flat woven cotton. Corduroy also develops its own character over time, gradually softening while areas that see repeated movement and friction begin to take on a more lived-in appearance.

Indigofera keeps the Western detailing traditional. Front and rear Western yokes give the shoulders their familiar shape, while two sawtooth chest pockets reinforce the cowboy shirt influence.
