Indigofera - Ryman 13W White Corduroy Western Shirt

The Indigofera Ryman takes the classic Western shirt and gives it considerably more texture with a substantial 13-wale cotton corduroy.

Made from 100% cotton, the corduroy uses a 13-wale construction, referring to the number of raised cords running through each inch of fabric. It gives the Ryman a substantial, textured hand without the exaggerated ridges of a wider wale corduroy. In White, that texture becomes especially visible as light moves across the surface of the fabric.

The Ryman itself is Indigofera’s interpretation of a traditional cowboy shirt. A pointed Western yoke shapes the shoulders, while two sawtooth chest pockets reinforce the vintage Western influence. Indigofera branded brass snap buttons are used throughout, adding a warm contrast against the lighter corduroy.

The result sits somewhere between a traditional Western shirt and a lightweight overshirt. The corduroy gives it more structure and presence than a conventional cotton shirting fabric, while the straightforward silhouette makes it easy to wear on its own or layered over a T-shirt.

The White colour also gives the Ryman a cleaner appearance than the darker, more traditional corduroy Western shirts, while still retaining all of the texture and workwear character of the fabric.
