Indigofera’s Tarot XIII Bandana turns Björn Atldax’s distinctive artwork into a lightweight cotton accessory built around one of the most symbolic cards in the Major Arcana. The Tarot XIII design draws on themes of death, transition and transformation, with skulls, serpentine forms, celestial elements and ornate detailing arranged into a dense, symmetrical composition.

The artwork is screen printed onto 100% Japanese cotton voile, a lightweight, finely woven fabric that gives the bandana a softer hand and more fluid drape than heavier workwear-style cottons. The fine weave also helps retain the detail of Atldax’s illustration without making the piece feel stiff or overly substantial around the neck.

This Off White/Blue colourway uses an off-white ground with deep blue and warm gold-toned artwork, giving the pattern considerably more contrast than the darker Red/Brown version. The lighter base makes the skulls, serpents and central imagery stand out more clearly while keeping the overall palette easy to wear with indigo denim, faded jeans, olive fatigues and neutral outerwear.

The fabric is rinsed for a softer feel from the beginning and measures approximately 56 × 52 cm. That gives it enough size to wear properly around the neck or head while remaining light enough to fold into a pocket, tie onto a bag or display as a small textile artwork.

Fabric & Care: Made from 100% Japanese cotton voile with a rinsed finish. Voile is a lightweight, finely woven cotton that allows the printed artwork to remain crisp while keeping the fabric soft and easy to fold. Wash gently in cold water with similar colours and hang dry. Avoid bleach, harsh detergents and excessive heat to help preserve the artwork and fabric.

Fit: Measures approximately 56 × 52 cm, giving enough coverage to wear as a traditional bandana or neckerchief while remaining compact enough to fold into a pocket, tie around a bag or wear at the wrist.
