Indigofera’s Tarot XIII Bandana turns one of Björn Atldax’s detailed illustrations into a lightweight cotton accessory that sits somewhere between bandana and textile artwork. The design is based around the thirteenth card of the Major Arcana, traditionally associated with death, transition and transformation rather than a literal ending. Atldax translates that symbolism through skulls, serpentine forms, celestial details and dense ornamental imagery arranged across the fabric.

The artwork is printed on 100% cotton voile, a lightweight, finely woven fabric that feels noticeably softer and more fluid than the heavier cotton often used for traditional workwear bandanas. The open, lightweight character of voile allows the piece to drape easily around the neck, fold cleanly into a pocket or tie comfortably without creating excessive bulk.

This Red/Brown colourway gives the artwork a warmer, earthier feel, with the deep red ground and brown-toned illustration leaning further into the darker, folk-art quality of Atldax’s work. The fabric is rinsed after production, removing some of the initial stiffness and giving it a softer hand from the first wear.

At approximately 56 × 52 cm, it has enough size to function as a proper neckerchief or head covering while still being easy to fold and carry. It also works particularly well as a simple graphic accessory with denim, fatigues and work jackets, bringing in colour and artwork without feeling overly polished.

Fabric & Care: Made from 100% cotton voile with a rinsed finish for a softer hand from the start. Voile is a lightweight, finely woven cotton fabric with an easy drape and less bulk than heavier bandana fabrics. Wash cold with similar colours and hang dry. Avoid excessive heat to help preserve the shape, colour and printed artwork.

Fit: Measures approximately 56 × 52 cm, giving enough coverage to wear as a traditional bandana or neckerchief while remaining compact enough to fold into a pocket or tie around a bag or wrist.
