UES MFG.CO.’s BSX-1 Boot Socks are designed specifically for taller, heavier footwear where cushioning, warmth and protection from the boot shaft matter more than keeping the sock lightweight. The above calf length makes them particularly well suited to engineer boots, work boots and other high cut footwear, helping reduce rubbing around the lower leg while keeping the sock securely in place.

The main body uses moisture absorbing Dralon cotton yarn, with the knit changing depending on the demands of each area. Pile construction provides additional cushioning through higher impact sections, while mesh knit zones improve airflow and help manage heat and moisture during extended wear. UES varies the thickness of the pile throughout the sock rather than simply making the entire garment uniformly heavy.

Areas that typically experience the most friction receive additional attention. Reinforcing yarn is used around the Achilles where contact with the inside of a boot can create significant wear, while curl yarn at the heel and toe helps improve grip and reduce unwanted movement inside the footwear. It is a much more considered construction than a standard everyday sock, especially for anyone regularly wearing substantial boots.

The Grey colour gives the BSX-1 a particularly versatile workwear appearance, pairing easily with indigo denim, black denim, olive fatigues and heavier cold weather footwear. A contrasting vintage inspired stripe adds a subtle athletic influence while keeping the overall look understated. Combined with the longer length and substantial knit, it makes a practical everyday boot sock for fall and winter.

Fabric & Care: Made from 37% acrylic, 32% cotton, 27% nylon and 4% polyurethane. The blended construction balances moisture management, stretch, cushioning and durability, while targeted mesh areas improve ventilation inside heavier footwear. Wash cold and hang dry to help maintain the shape and elasticity of the knit.

Fit: Designed in a tall boot sock length that extends above the calf, providing additional coverage and protection when worn with engineer boots and other high cut footwear. UES lists size L for approximately 25–28cm feet. The stretch within the knit allows the sock to conform closely around the foot and lower leg.
