UES MFG.CO.’s BSX-1 Boot Socks are designed specifically for substantial footwear, combining a taller above calf length with targeted cushioning, reinforcement and ventilation. The extra coverage makes them particularly well suited to engineer boots, work boots and other high cut footwear where shorter socks can leave the lower leg exposed to rubbing against the boot shaft.

The main body uses moisture absorbing Dralon cotton yarn, while different sections of the sock are knitted according to how they are used. Pile construction adds cushioning through higher impact areas, while mesh knit zones improve airflow and help manage heat and moisture during extended wear. Rather than simply making the sock thick throughout, UES adjusts the knit structure to balance warmth, comfort and breathability.

Reinforcing yarn is added around the Achilles, one of the areas most prone to friction inside heavier boots, while curl yarn at the heel and toe helps improve stability and reduce unwanted movement. These details make the BSX-1 particularly useful for long periods of wear, especially when paired with rigid or substantial leather footwear.

Wine Red gives the sock a richer, more distinctive appearance while still working naturally within a heritage wardrobe. The deep red tone pairs especially well with indigo denim, brown leather boots, olive fatigues and neutral workwear, while the contrasting vintage inspired stripe adds a subtle athletic influence to the otherwise utilitarian design.

Fabric & Care: Made from 37% acrylic, 32% cotton, 27% nylon and 4% polyurethane. The blended construction balances moisture management, stretch, cushioning and durability, while mesh knit sections help improve ventilation inside heavier footwear. Wash cold and hang dry to help maintain the shape and elasticity of the knit.

Fit: Designed in a tall boot sock length that extends above the calf, providing additional protection when worn with engineer boots and other high cut footwear. UES lists size L for approximately 25–28cm feet. The stretch within the knit allows the sock to conform closely around the foot and lower leg.
